Terms & Conditions – Justin Jennings Private Chef Catering Service

1. Introduction
By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.

2. Booking & Payment

All bookings require a deposit to secure the date. The remaining balance is due within 7 days before, or on the night of the event.

Payments can be made via Revlout, bank transfer, or other approved methods. Confirmation of your preferred payment method and time frame must be made prior to the event.

Confirmation will be sent once your booking is finalized.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event will receive a full refund of the deposit.

Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will forfeit the deposit.

Guest numbers are binding and must be confirmed no later than 3 days before the event. The total price of the event will reflect the before mentioned confirmed guest numbers. In the case of last minute additional guests, all possible steps will be taken to accommodate them, however catering for them can not be guaranteed. Additional guests will be charged at the applicable rates.

In case of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, extreme weather), we reserve the right to reschedule or refund the booking.

4. Dietary Requirements & Allergies

It is the client’s responsibility to inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies at least 7 days before the event.

While we take strong precautions to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

5. Service Details
-
The chef will arrive approximately 1–2 hours before the event to prepare the cooking environment.

The client must ensure the kitchen is clean, functional, and equipped with necessary appliances.

While basic service staff levels are maintained for the servicing of the menu provided. Additional staff (e.g., servers, bartenders) can be arranged at an extra cost.

6. Liability

We are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses occurring during the event unless caused by our negligence.

Clients are responsible for maintaining a safe environment during the event.

7. Property & Clean-Up
-
The chef will clean the preparation area post-service but is not responsible for general event clean-up.

Any damage to the chef’s equipment or supplies caused by the client or guests will be charged accordingly.

8. Force Majeure
We are not liable for cancellations or service interruptions due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions).

9. Privacy Policy
All client information is kept confidential and used solely for booking and service purposes. We do not share personal data with third parties without consent.

10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable Portuguese laws. Any disputes arising will be handled in accordance with local legal procedures.
